Croydon is an inner west suburb of Sydney. It is located 11 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD. The suburb sits across two local government areas. These are: Burwood Council and the Municipality of Ashfield.
Getting there and getting around
Croydon Railway Station is located on the Airport, Inner West and South Line of the Sydney Trains Network. The area is also serviced by a number of buses on the Sydney Buses Network including the 418, 461, 480, 483, 490, 491 and 492.

Croydon is well established Sydney suburb with a high percentage of stand alone houses, many that date back to the early 20th century. The main shopping, retail and eating areas are located around the train station.
